By Economic Development Research Group for the Office of Institutional Research at Columbia College, Chicago. 2003-2004 EDR Group conducted an analysis of the local and regional economic contribution of Columbia College in Chicago, the nation's largest private media and arts college. This study explored how the college's annual activities affect the economy of Chicago, the broader metro-area (six-counties), and the state of Illinois. Tax revenue implications were also estimated.
