(Director of Data Product Development) - Database & Economic Models

Robert "Bob" Harris is the Director of Data Product Development at EDR Group and also Principal Consultant of Corporate Objects.

Bob is a well-known and trusted systems consultant, creating and delivering custom data systems, user interface solutions, and financial and project management consultation. His early career included positions as Trust Administrator for Bank of California and as Project Controls Administrator for Parsons Brinckerhoff (the world's largest transportation design firm). This has allowed him to bring a business oriented viewpoint to his technical vision and system engineering experience.

Bob's current work at EDR Group includes programming of web-based products and services including the Local Economic Assessment Package (EDR-LEAP) and the Transportation Economic Development Impact System (TREDIS). He has also led development of database applications including performance measurement tracking for economic development programs, including work for the Appalachian Regional Commission and the Oregon Dept. of Economic Development. In addition, he led development of statewide airport system planning and economic impact software for Michigan Dept. of Transportation.

Bob is a native of Madison, Wisconsin, educated at Milwaukee School of Engineering and Golden Gate University, San Francisco, and the world at large.
