Featured Staff - Fred Clark
EDR Group is proud to announce the addition of Fred Clark to our staff.
Mr. Clark is an accomplished writer and communications manager. He served for three years as Communications Manager for the YES Campaign at Education Development Center in Newton, Massachusetts. At YES he managed reports, articles and media production, as well as managed grants for renewable energy and exchange programs. He also supervised recruitment strategies for conferences in Egypt, India, and elsewhere around the world.
Previously, Mr. Clark served as editor, media coordinator and writer for radio and television organizations in the UK and Australia.
He holds a BA in Economic History from the University of New South Wales, Graduate Certificate in Communications from the University of Technology in Sydney, and coursework in Sustainable Development at Harvard University.

Transportation Investment: Stakes High for Oregon Economy
Oregon, like other states across America, is facing increasing needs for highway and other transportation infrastructure. Most importantly, businesses across the state are becoming concerned about increases in traffic delays and highway system limitations, which are proving costly for individual firms and the state economy.
EDR Group's recently published analysis for the Oregon Business Council shows that a variety of trends -- growth in business markets and delivery trip lengths, trends toward larger trucks, greater use of intermodal connections, vehicle weight and size changes, and seasonal tourism -- are all affecting future transportation needs and conditions in the state. Despite a 40% funding shortfall, Wisconsin's statewide 'Focus on Energy' Program is well on its way to increasing energy efficiency and lowering energy use. Additionally, there is continued improvement for Wisconsin's marketplace for energy-efficient products and renewable technologies.
A new EDRG five-year report shows a clearer picture of who is participating in the Wisconsin "Focus on Energy" Program, and which technologies are yielding net energy savings.
