Glen Weisbrod is the President of EDR Group. He brings over 38 years of research experience on the relationship of energy, economic development and transportation infrastructure investment. He is widely recognized for his expertise in economic evaluation methods, including benefit-cost, economic impact, social return on investment, multi-criteria rating and prioritization processes. This is demonstrated by the wide range of national reports, guides, state and regional studies that he has authored. 

Mr. Weisbrod has assisted 35 states across the U.S., eight Canadian provinces, as well as regions in Europe, Asia and Australia with methods for evaluating and prioritizing programs and projects.  He has coauthored journal articles and guides on these topics, and has been an invited speaker at workshops and conferences across North America as well as in Europe (Paris, Amsterdam, Glasgow, Leipzig, Bari), South America (Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo), Asia (Saigon, Osaka) and Australia (Sydney).

Among his many leadership roles, Mr Weisbrod has served as Chair of the TRB Committee on Transportation and Economic Development, and is currently a member of its Land Development committee and Transportation Economics committee. He previously served as Chair of the Framingham Economic Development and Industrial Corp., and as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Council for Urban Economic Development (now the International Economic Development Council). He is also an active member of the National Association for Business Economics.  Prior to establishing EDR Group. Mr. Weisbrod served Director of the Boston office of Hagler Bailly, and before that as Senior Vice President of Cambridge Systematics. He has authored over 30 published articles. He holds a MS in Engineering and MCP in Planning from M.I.T., and BA in Economics from Brandeis University.
